What is eSIM?

Similar to a traditional SIM card, an eSIM contains the necessary data for your device to connect to the Gamma network. An eSIM is a virtual SIM embedded within your device. Rather than inserting a physical SIM into your phone, you simply scan a QR Code and follow the prompts to download the eSIM profile onto your device.

It's quick and easy to setup.

You can store multiple eSIM profiles on a single device, effectively having two numbers for personal and business use, giving the ability to switch between them easily.

eSIMs are a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option than traditional plastic SIMs. They do not require any plastic packaging, which reduces waste and helps to reduce your carbon footprint.

If you’ve ordered a new eSIM from us, we'll send you an eSIM voucher with a scannable QR code.

Upon receiving your new eSIM voucher, you will need to contact us first to activate it. N.B Please note, do not scan the QR code before contacting us.

Internet connectivity is essential for setting up your eSIM.

Once activated, scan the QR code with your device camera; it contains all the necessary information to add the eSIM to your device. The instructions for setting up your eSIM may vary slightly depending on your device manufacturer. Select your device manufacturer from the tabs below to find specific setup instructions.

Yes, if you already have Gamma Mobile, you can order a replacement eSIM, if you have a compatible device.

If you accidentally delete your eSIM profile, contact us and we'll provide you with a new QR code. Alternatively, if you keep a hold of your eSIM welcome pack, you can re-scan the QR Code to reactivate your eSIM.

Yes, your eSIM will work exactly the same as a physical SIM.
